Blackened Flat Iron Steak Sandwich with Blue Cheese Spread & Ranch Wedges

6 oz Steak made from JBS 5 Star® Beef Choice Chuck Flat Iron Filet (955880)

As needed McCormick Cajun Seasoning (472171)

1 each Rotella’s Brioche Bun (907250)

2 oz Capital City Yellow Onions (361045), sliced

2 oz Capital City Red Bell Peppers (361251), cut into strips

1 oz Monterey Thick Sliced Mushrooms (360940)

2 oz Blue Cheese Spread (see recipe)

5 oz Lamb Weston Lamb’s Seasoned® Ranch Recipe® Potato Wedges (960260), prepared

 

Season steak with Cajun seasoning. Grill to desired temperature. Caramelize onions. Sauté peppers and mushrooms. Toast bun. Build sandwich, finishing off with the spread. Serve with wedges.

 

Blue Cheese Spread

Yield | 6

1 cup Kraft Heinz Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese (903718), softened

1/2 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles (903758)

1/2 cup Kemps Sour Cream (900540)

2 tsp McCormick Grill Mates® Montreal Steak® Seasoning (471181)

 

Combine all ingredients.
