Steve Tiezzi has over 20 years of foodservice experience with a culinary degree from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He has expertise in culinary arts as well as foodservice marketing, training, communications and administration. His work experience includes positions as a Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Foodservice Business Manager.
John Smith, Business Development Manager
With over 22 years of foodservice experience, John brings incredible product knowledge to assist our customers with production ease as well as operational success. He works closely with customers to help source and test products for the best menu applications.
Scott Fadden, Operations Consultant
Scott Fadden has over 30 years of foodservice experience and has culinary training in commercial food, baking, restaurant management principles and nutrition and food safety. Scott is also an expert in financial analysis covering all aspects of foodservice including menu and recipe development and employee and management training. His back-of-the-house expertise is sure to help take service and profits to the next level.
Erika Kramer, LNHA
Erika Kramer graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Business Management. She has over 10 years in the healthcare industry. In March of 2017, Erika pursued her administrators license and passed her national administrator boards. She specializes in helping our customers with staff education related to regulatory guidance and compliance.
Julie Halfpop, RD, LDN, Director of Nutrition Services
Julie Halfpop is the leader of our Martin Bros.’ team of 9 dietitians. Passionate about the senior living industry, Julie has devoted over 30 years to inspiring excellence in dining. Having managed food & nutrition departments, she challenges her team daily to develop and administer tools and services that will promote successful management of the industry’s opportunities & challenges. Her favorite topics of conversation revolve around menus, developing marketable dining experiences, controlling costs, and training staff.
Julie is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BS in Food & Nutrition/Dietetics and has a long history of teaching the Dietary Manager courses, public speaking, and a creative approach to serving others.

Our extensive training covers topics such as floor care, carpet care, restroom cleaning, hand washing, equipment preventative maintenance, infection control and more!
